Does it protect against the sun? It does. But that's not why I'm here today, but to help others who in panic have also ruined their entire vacation wardrobe with this product. This sticky h*ll has left the worst stains on fabrics I've ever seen, and if you've also gone through every article and YouTube clip with "baking soda", "vinegar", and "dish soap" and realized that it doesn't help a damn thing - then I have the gift from above here: OXALIC ACID. Rust remover, you think? Yes indeed, I say. You don't have to throw away your nice light summer clothes, just make a paste of this blessed chemical, let it sit and scrub with a toothbrush, and the disaster is averted!
