I needed to switch out my moisturizer because my skin got way too shiny throughout the day. This product sits lightly on the skin and has given me a matte finish all day. In the evening, I continue with my usual heavier cream and use this during the day before makeup. It might be a downside that it comes in a small package, but a little dab on the finger is enough for the whole face since it glides on so easily (first ingredient aqua).
