  Good to use alone but not combined

  I have tested the TAFT Aloe Boost Multi-Purpose Styling Paste and it has both strengths and weaknesses. The formula gives a pretty matte result, which can be perfect if you prefer a more natural and understated look – it provides structure without making the hair look greasy or shiny. The consistency is easy to work into the hair and it is simple to distribute evenly. However, there is a downside: when combining the paste with other products, especially wax, the result can be less successful. I noticed that it started to look like flour in the hair, which is not particularly flattering. For the best results, I recommend using it alone and brushing through the hair thoroughly after application. The scent is, however, a big plus – fresh and mild without being too strong or overwhelming. In summary, this is a product with potential, especially for those who like a natural result, but it’s important to think about how to combine it with other products.

  The hair holds the style

  The hair holds the style without being uncomfortably sticky when I style it. Keeps the little hairs in place throughout the day when I put my hair up. I was worried it would be stiff and feel sticky, but this product is really soft and natural.

  Used for bangs

  I have longer bangs that I've tried to keep in place with several different products. It works quite well with this product, but I can find that it gets a bit stickier than if I just use a texturizing spray. On the other hand, it keeps the flyaways in place all day when I put my hair up.

  Natural result that lasts long

  I tested this styling paste while fixing my hair for my daughter's dance performances – and I was positively surprised. It’s easy to work into the hair and gives a natural look without feeling sticky or heavy. What really impressed me was the hold. Despite a lot of movement, the hair stayed in place for several hours without needing to be touched up. It works both to give some structure and to keep flyaways away from the face. The scent is mild and fresh, and the ingredients with aloe vera and niacinamide feel like a nice bonus. I didn’t notice any dramatic difference in hair quality yet, but it feels cared for and easy to style. We will definitely continue to use this product!

  The whole faniljen product

  Tested this through Reviewclub - was very satisfied! My husband uses it daily, keeps his very thick hair in place, even under the helmet. I also use it to style my eight-year-old before school - goes quickly, smells just right, and holds all day despite wild play! I sometimes fix a slicked wet-look myself and use this then. Good product, simply!

  just perfect results.

  Good scent, less hold

  I have tried the product through Reviewclub. It is good for adding shine and smoothing out flyaways and frizz. It is very soft in consistency and doesn't provide much hold for styling the hair.

  Fresh scent but weak effect

  My own hair is both thick and long, and I don't belong to the target group for this product at all. Still, I've been sneaking a bit from my boyfriend's jar a couple of times. When I curl my hair, I usually put it up on day 2 or 3, and I find that a little styling paste in the ends helps to give some definition without making the hair stiff. For that, this product works okay, but it doesn't hold the shape for very long. Otherwise, it's mainly my boyfriend who has used this. He has thick curly hair and prefers to have a light product that tames the curls a bit. Right now, he is very satisfied with the product, as it gives just the right amount of hold and texture without making the hair feel dirty. Plus, it smells fresh. However, I want to add that he is currently very short-haired, and in a few weeks, this paste will be way too weak to keep the hairstyle in check. If you have very short or thin hair, I can imagine this is a top product. If you have thicker or somewhat longer hair, you should probably look for something with a bit more power.

  Affordable!

  Fits my boyfriend really well! It's not too sticky and gives a very good result that doesn't smudge. Holds all day and is also easy to wash out. Now my boyfriend doesn't use that much of these kinds of products 😅, but this one he is very satisfied with! I really appreciate that in turn! I recommend this based on the price, quality, and scent!
