The only thing legendary is how bad it is
I really wanted to love the RMS Lip Oil. The color? Gorgeous! But let’s talk texture. “Lip oil” is a bold claim for something that feels about as hydrating as a matte lipstick left in the desert. My lips were begging for mercy within minutes. It also vanished faster than my motivation on a Monday morning. Both from my lips and from the tube. Seriously, did they fill this thing with a teaspoon of product? I swear I could finish it during one enthusiastic reapplication. Yes, it’s pretty, for the five minutes it exists. legendary dry lips
The texture of this lip oil feels really nice. It’s not sticky, the applicator is soft and wide, and it feels lovely to apply. It seems moisturizing at first, but within less than five minutes my lips start to feel dry and chapped. It almost feels like the product is pulling the moisture out of my lips. I tried using it for two days in a row, and the only way I could wear it was over a lip balm. Even then, after a while, my lips still felt dehydrated.
