This special blend combines resin with nourishing and moisturizing oils, along with beeswax. Beeswax, a secretion from the "Apis Mellifica" or the honey-producing bee, is harvested from honeycombs in the traditional way by immersing them in hot water, allowing the wax to rise to the surface for collection. Beeswax is rich in small amounts of pollen and, notably, Propolis (bee glue), which boasts antibacterial properties. It can also combat or inhibit the growth of certain fungi.
