With Rica, this is totally achievable, as it’s a gentle wax specifically formulated to adhere to hair, not skin. This unique formula combines resin with nourishing and moisturizing oils, plus beeswax. Beeswax is a secretion from the "Apis Mellifica," the bee that produces honey. This wax is extracted from honeycombs using the same traditional method as in the past, by dipping them in hot water. The wax then rises to the surface and is collected. Beeswax contains small amounts of pollen and, most importantly, Propolis (bee glue). Propolis is packed with antibacterial properties and can even kill or inhibit the growth of certain fungi. Bee glue has been attributed with many different benefits, the most common being wound healing.
