New favorite!!
Have been testing this product for almost two weeks now and WOW. I'm in love with it! Leaves hair moisturized and soft. Tried not using it after washing my hair and noticed a marked difference in how my hair turns out afterward. Also applied a small amount to dry hair between washes when it felt frizzy, and it strengthens the hair without making it greasy. The only negative is the packaging; I wish I didn’t have to dig into the product. Good, but must be used correctly
I have tested Redken Acidic Bonding Concentrate Hair Bandage Balm Leave-in. This is a product that is very economical to use, and you only need a small amount to see an effect. This means the product lasts a long time, which is a big plus. The balm has a very nice and fresh scent, giving a feeling of well-cared-for hair after use. The hair feels softer and more cohesive in the lengths, especially on damaged ends. At the same time, I notice that you have to be a bit careful with the amount and where you apply the product. If you use too much, or apply it too far up in the hair, it can quickly look a bit greasy in the lengths and especially at the ends. All in all, a good product as long as you use it correctly. I have now tested the Redken Acidic series for a few weeks, I basically have damaged hair with a tendency to frizz. This leave-in balm comes in a jar, which I like because it’s easy to carry in my bag. The texture is soft, somewhat thick, and I only needed a little product each time, so I would say it’s economical to use. It smells fresh like the rest of the series, but less than the shampoo and conditioner. I am positively surprised by this; after use, the ends become smoother, there is less frizz, and the hair looks healthier. Extra plus for also having heat protection. Use on dry hair as directed. Only need a small amount, so it is very economical to use. Haven't used it long enough to notice a significant effect, but like how the product feels. The Acidic Bonding series is designed to strengthen the bonds in the hair and the hair’s resistance to color treatments and heat styling. I have bleached hair that is damaged from coloring, and it’s dry/frizzy and tangles easily. I have used this together with shampoo and conditioner from the same series. It comes in a jar, which I prefer over pumps because you feel like you get it all out. The consistency is therefore a bit thicker, but you still need very little to spread on the ends. You don’t need to soak your whole hair in the product to notice an effect, which is a big plus! I feel like this will last a long time. The effects I’ve noticed are that the hair feels less damaged, less frizz, and more shine. It’s easier to detangle knots. Even though it makes a difference, you don’t feel it in the hair, for example, it doesn’t clump up into greasy strands. A big plus is that it also helps against heat styling! A small jar, but with plenty of content. This lasts a long time because you don’t need much per use. If you use too much, the hair quickly becomes greasy and heavy. Makes hair easier to "brush" after washing. And I think this has helped my hair a lot. Light and slightly creamy texture. Nice scent that is hard to place. This one is very economical to use and easy to work into the hair. The hair becomes easier to comb and looks nice and shiny.
