Incredible oil!! It gives my hair incredible moisture. My hair tends to get very dry and frizzy in the lengths (see video, haven't applied oil yet) but after applying the oil, the frizz and split ends are gone (see picture, oil applied there). ✨ A small bottle that makes a big difference!
I really understand why Olaplex No.7 has become such a talked-about hair oil! This is one of those products where I think just a few drops really go a long way. 🤍 I usually use it mainly on the lengths and ends, and I like that I can use it both when my hair is damp and when it’s dry. On dry hair, I especially like it when I want to get rid of some frizz and give my hair an extra nice finish. What I notice the most is the shine. ✨ The hair immediately looks more well cared for and feels softer when I run my fingers through the lengths. I really like it when a hair oil can give a lot of shine without the result looking obviously oily. And here’s my biggest tip: use very little! 😂 The first time it’s easy to think you need more, but 2–3 drops actually go a very long way. That also makes the small bottle feel much more economical than you might first think. I also like that it provides heat protection up to 232 °C. That makes it fit very well into my routine when I use heat tools, and I don’t have to feel like I need to use five different products to get my hair both cared for and styled. The scent is also a plus for me. It’s not overly strong, but quite subtle and fresh, which I appreciate in a hair oil. The only thing that makes me hesitate a bit is the price. 😭 30 ml isn’t a lot, and Olaplex is definitely in the premium class. But since you need so little at a time, I still think it feels quite economical. For me, this is primarily a shine, softness, and frizz favorite that I like to use when I want my hair to look a little extra polished. This did not suit my curly hair at all. It became drier than before application, I have understood now from the comments that it is a light oil, and maybe not enough for curly hair, but it still doesn't absorb into the hair even though the hair is wet. I use this product on wet hair every time I wash it. I LOVE this product, and my hair feels so smooth and nice afterwards. Good but how do you apply it properly?
I think it's good and smells really nice, but I'm a bit wondering how to apply it evenly through the hair. My hair is very dry at the ends, so they clump a bit like strands even when it's clean and not at the roots.
