Love!
GelIQ is SO worth it. If done the right way, they can last 3-4 weeks. The nails in the second picture I had for 3 weeks, just did new ones (first picture). To make them last, I file the top of my nail so itβs not smooth, then I follow the instructions but I take more layers of the actual color than what it says. I STRONGLY recommend GelIQ! There are tons of videos on TikTok showing how to make them last better and longer!Translated from swedish

Side effects?
I think the product is really good and the whole idea behind it is fantastic. But I've gotten worse nails and cracks under the nails in the skin that are recurring. I wonder if anyone else has gotten these cracks from gel iq? Since I don't know yet where they come from, but I get new recurring cracks when I change the color after 14 days. The nails have also "rested" which can be seen in the pictures. Is there anyone else who has had these problems?!Translated from swedish

Can I build with gel?
I have both the Depend Gel iQ kit and their gel polish. If I put on tips, can I then build with any of their products? I also have their Gelkit Natural Look Shortcut Tip, but you don't use a UV lamp for that, so is there any gel I can build on the nails with? Not satisfied!
Very hard to remove! I have worked in beauty for several years and am not completely lost on the subject, but even though I follow the instructions to the letter when it comes to removal, they don't work without damaging the nails. I bought this product hoping that my nails would grow strong, but I've never had such bad nails after use. The polish doesn't stay nice for more than a week either. I really understand the feeling when you've hoped for a good result but it doesn't turn out as expected, especially when you're used to working with similar products. Sometimes the removal can be extra tricky, especially on drier nails. A tip that usually helps many is to use Gel-iQ Remover along with Removal Wraps-foil, which you can find here: π lyko.com/sv/depend/depend-gel-iq-removal-wraps- Do it like this: Saturate a cotton pad with remover, place it on the nail, and wrap it in the foil. Seal it well and let it sit for about 15 minutes (a bit different depending on nail type). Open one foil at a time and gently scrape off the gel with a manicure stick. Wash your hands and moisturize with cuticle oil afterwards π§ It usually makes a big difference! But don't hesitate to reach out if you have more questions π€ Have a nice day πΈ

Not worth the money!!
Doesn't work at all on my nails. Since I have fragile nails that easily split, I bought a whole kit with gel polish and a UV lamp and happily tested them in hand - carefully following all instructions. They held well for two days. Then they came off and took pieces of my own nail with them, which became even thinner and also rough on the surface. Thought I must have done something wrong, so I tested again with the same result. Got for me to fix my nails again the day before yesterday, and with Depend's own video in front of me, I carefully followed the instructions, in case I had messed it up last time? Today I have four left, the others have worn off and taken part of the nail surface with them. They look nice for a day, but regular polish lasts better and is gentler on my nail. Works
Once you get the technique of not getting too close to the edges around the nail, the result is really pretty. The durability for me varies on the nails, on some nails it has lasted up to 3 weeks while on others only 3 days. Hence the rating. I have soft/brittle nails that easily break and it's hard to get some length. Very good.
I have had my Gel Iq set now for a few months and I think it works really well. It's an easy way to do some extra pretty nails. The product also lasts a long time and I have more than half left despite doing my nails very often.
