With each pack of our soap base, you can create up to 6 fabulous soaps, each weighing around 80 g. The number of finished soaps may vary depending on the size of the molds you choose, so there’s always room for customization and variation.

Usage:
Melt the soap base in a water bath using a glass or stainless steel bowl placed in a pot of water. Cut the soap base into smaller pieces with a knife (about 1 cm thick cubes) and place them in the bowl.

Gently heat the soap base and stir slowly until it’s completely melted (55-70 °C). Carefully lift the bowl out of the water bath to let it cool slowly. You can also melt the soap in the microwave for about 30 seconds to 1 minute – just don’t leave it unattended in the microwave.

If you want to add color or fragrance, do so when the temperature of the soap base has dropped to around 40 °C. A quantity of 1-2%* essential oil will give a satisfying scent.

Gently stir until the oil and color are well blended. Let the soap base sit for a moment to allow any air bubbles to rise to the surface. Then, carefully pour the soap base into the molds and let it cool.

If desired, decorative dried flower petals, flower buds, or similar can be placed on top of the soap base.

If the molds are left in a cool place for up to 24 hours, the soaps will release more easily from the molds.

Wrap and store the soaps in plastic wrap or in an airtight plastic or glass container to keep them from drying out and to maintain their freshness.

*1-2% essential oil for 500 g of soap base equals 5-10 ml of essential oil.
