Shine Shine and More Shine!
I already have black dyed hair, and the problem for me is often maintaining that black shiny color because I find that after a while, the hair can start to shift to red/brown. Perfect then to just be able to throw in a treatment like this between dye jobs to reduce the damage that comes from coloring too often. What I really liked about the product was the consistency. It’s a bit thicker, just like a really moisturizing treatment, which makes it easy to distribute even in my thick hair. It didn’t smell much, so if you’re sensitive to scents, you can definitely use this. What gives it that extra star for me is the incredible shine I got in my black hair! Here I only blow-dried and then straightened. No other products! Natural and fast but not recommended due to price and not cruelty free!
A bit about me: long, nice, frizzy dark brown hair with some gray strands. Tinted a few weeks ago but it faded quickly and needs to be refreshed! Natural and gentle hair mask with henna color! Quick and easy to apply and only needs to be on for 5 minutes! I left it on for 15 minutes to be safe. This shade worked very well on my dark hair and also covered all the gray strands. Doesn’t smell as strong as chemical dye but is quite pigmented and “bleeds” easily on skin and clothes. Easy to wash off skin and bathroom with water but can stain fabric. Doesn’t last long, up to 8 hair washes, which is a bit short for the price of a regular hair dye/tint. Possibly better suited for refreshing existing tint/dye. Not cruelty free💔🐇 Appreciate the concept but unfortunately not recommended. ➕️ Beautiful dark purple shade! ➕️ Gentle and natural, less allergenic than regular chemical hair dye/tint ➕️ Super fast and easy, and smells less than regular tint ➕️ Covers very well, like regular tint! Lovely Refresh
Tested for free in collaboration with Smartson. It has a thick consistency (a bit like a hair mask) but smells okay. We used gloves when applying it, as we didn’t want to get color on our hands. Easy to apply but a downside if you don’t use it all, as you can easily get the tube messy. Gives a fresh and lovely shine afterwards. However, it has a short durability so you need to do it again. Might use it if I need a light refresh of my hair. Poor durability
I had high expectations for this product as I have long been looking for something to use on my hair between colorings. However, it adhered very poorly to my hair while also staining furniture and clothes. Maybe I chose the wrong color for my hair, or my hair is too treated beforehand. Regardless, it will not be a repurchase for me when this runs out. I kind of liked this but don’t use it if you have lighter hair than the color because it turns yellow. Honestly, I don’t know the purpose of this, I guess maybe to add shine, but unfortunately it didn’t work for my hair type/color. Shine and a little tone
Tested this in my blonde light pink hair before we were going to a wedding to get a bit more depth in my color. The product gave a very simple impression, it was super quick to throw in, and it’s easy to apply. I don’t have long or thick hair, and this tube will probably last a couple of times. This product smelled nice, It gave me a very nice glow and the hair felt soft afterward. It gave me a very light pink tone in the hair and highlighted the purple-pink I already had in it. However, it gives very little color and after a shower, it was all gone. I would say perfect for days or occasions when you want your hair a bit more fun but don’t want it to last long. Would I buy it again? No, I actually don’t think so, I’d probably rather go for similar products from other brands. Easy to get even
I was pleasantly surprised by Schwarzkopf LIVE Go Gloss Onyx. It was easy to use and gave the hair a nice, glossy feel and a fresher look.
