    Thick and Delicious!

    As a #lykoinflutester, I have been tasked with testing a series of hair products from #WellaProfessionals. It is their Ultimate Smooth series, which contains squalane and omega-9 and is supposed to smooth, nourish, and add shine. My reviews for the shampoo and conditioner are already up, and now we have come to the Hair Mask ✨️ A bit about my hair is that it is quite long, typically Scandinavian, and blonde. I think my hair is healthy and nice, and when I shampoo it, I focus a lot on the scalp. I apply the conditioner to the entire hair, and I used this hair mask in the lengths. I have used the hair mask as step 3, after shampoo and conditioner, because that was what I read was recommended. In other cases, I have heard that hair mask goes before conditioner, but I don’t know 🤭 I have used the products from the Ultimate Smooth series together, and I think there is a point in doing this because it feels like the products complement each other. As I wrote about the conditioner, it was a bit thinner, but this mask is thickkkk and delicious! Just how I want a hair mask to be. It feels very nourishing and it also smells really good of jasmine and vanilla. I let it sit in my hair while I do everything else you’re supposed to do in the shower, 10-15 minutes. I think the longer, the better. Afterwards, my hair is easy to brush out, I actually notice a big difference compared to when I don’t use it. I also think this mask would stand nicely on its own, without the other products in the series. I have like nothing to complain about! 😂 The price might be a bit high, but I still think a product like a hair mask can be worth spending a little extra money on 😊 #lykoinflutester #WellaProfessionals #hairmask

    Way too much for my hair

    I got to test this hair product line as a #lykoinflutester, which was exciting to do. It's a nice product that seemed promising. A mistake at the beginning was that I used all the products at the same hair wash. As you can see in the first picture, it was a really bad idea. For a little context, I have flyaway, fine (fine strands, that is), smooth Scandinavian hair, and my hair is mostly untreated but has some ombre bleaching left in the ends. After the grease catastrophe (in the picture), I switched to a more cautious use. But I unfortunately still have to say that this hair mask is way too “powerful” for me. My hair gets weighed down, heavy, and dirty quickly. So even though the packaging is tempting and it smells spicy and mild, I won’t use it, and I can’t recommend it to people with the same hair type as me. #WellaProfessionals

    Moisturizes but weighs down a bit too much.

    I got to try this product for free via Smartson as a test pilot. I thought the scent was lovely. Floral with a slight nutty tone. The consistency was perfect. I love when a hair mask is really thick. It was very easy to rinse out as well, which can be hard to determine with other brands. It gave my hair a lot of moisture. A little too much. I have a lot of curls that I style sometimes. Something I like about my hair is that the curls start very high up on my head. But after I used this hair mask, my curls started much much lower down. It felt like my hair became a bit straighter too. That’s not something I want to happen to my hair. Therefore, I’m not completely satisfied with the product. Everything else was great. I took a photo and focused on my curls. The frizziness was a bit less. In this photo, I had also used a hair serum from the same line. The same there, so I tried it for free via Smartson.     A real moisture bomb that my hair loved

    The mask is part of a series with shampoo, conditioner, mask, and serum. I have very curly hair that requires a lot of moisture. The mask has a lovely consistency. The hair becomes soft and feels really good right away. Easy to rinse out - the scent is mild and pleasant, lingering for several days in the hair. The jar is easy to open even when you're wet in the shower.     Product Test

    I am testing this hair mask in a test along with shampoo, conditioner, and serum from the same series. My hair is long and thick and a bit dry. After testing this series that I really like, I will continue to use the shampoo together with this hair mask, my hair soaks it up and really needs a mask.     Wella Professionals Ultimate Smooth Mask 150ml gives a feeling of everyday luxury. The consistency is pleasant and easy to apply, and since a relatively small amount of product is required per use, it feels both economical and effective. After application, a noticeable improvement in hair softness and manageability was observed, making it easy to handle. However, the mask, like the other products in the series, has a strong scent that can be bothersome for sensitive users. I found that it gave me both headaches and nausea, which detracts from the overall impression. Another aspect I would have liked to see differently is the packaging. The hair mask comes in a jar, but a tube or bottle would have been more practical, both to minimize waste and to make application smoother. I appreciated that the processing time was relatively short, which makes the product time-saving in everyday life. However, it was less practical that the information about the processing time was only on the cardboard box and not on the jar itself – I prefer to have the instructions easily accessible. In summary, this is a hair mask that provides a luxurious and effective result with a good consistency and short processing time. However, the scent can be perceived as too intense, and the packaging could have been more user-friendly. The cardboard box that the jar came in felt excessive and like a waste of the forest's resources.     Ultimate smooth mask

    I got to be a test pilot for this hair care series via Smartson, and the love/hate relationship is a fact. My hair has waves, but it’s quite thin and frizzy, it gets flat and colored and endures most things. The hair became soft, shiny, and completely smooth after using both shampoo, mask, and conditioner. It really exceeded expectations. The mask also made the hair feel a bit thicker. It was also economical, I didn’t need much for my hair that goes a bit below the shoulders. So my concern that it would run out quickly with the relatively small bottle was unfounded. The problem is the scent. The first time I actually liked it, maybe because it was new and didn’t resemble my usual products at all. It wasn’t an overwhelming strong scent, leaning a bit floral, etc. But every other time, the scent became something I couldn’t handle at all. Covid has ruined my sense of smell, and all I can smell is that it smells old and musty. Kind of like a summer cottage and wet dog. Still not strong, but as soon as I have my hair down, it’s constantly present. Super disappointing, and it’s really hardly the product’s fault, but I can no longer use it.     The hair mask is awesome because it really gives my hair a boost and makes my thick, curly hair soft and shiny. I find that it smooths out and gives incredible shine and deeply nourishes the hair. It also makes my hair smell really good after use.     Wella Professionals Ultimate Smooth Hair Mask

    I have tried this mask from Wella Professionals and it feels like I'm doing my hair a favor. I combine the products I've tested so I don't know what contributes to what yet. I need to test the mask a bit more "independently" to see its results. But overall, it's a lovely and luxurious product with a nice consistency that adds shine and feels like it deeply nourishes the hair.

    Moisturizing Mask

    Thick but maybe too much?

    I have thick but worn, frizzy hair. I often lose a lot of hair, so I'm a bit thin-haired. I tried the hair mask which is really thick and smells fantastic. But I think the result was poor afterwards because my hair feels greasy afterwards, I don't know if I took too much because I got the same result regardless of whether I took too little or too much.
