    Moisturizing cream for sensitive skin

I am 42 years old and have combination skin. I have the classic oily T-zone and dry areas on my cheeks. In winter, I tend to become drier and therefore need a lot of hydration. My first impression was curiosity as I had not heard of this product before. I was attracted to the fact that it was supposed to be a fragrance-free product that is good for redness and irritation issues. I easily get redness on my cheeks and the dry areas, so it became exciting to try this product. When I read the ingredient list, it was positive to see ingredients like niacinamide, squalane, centella, and panthenol. These are known ingredients for strengthening the skin barrier and also have softening properties. The fact that the product was also supposed to help balance oil production made me think that this could be a product that would suit me well. The product is quite gel-like in the formula and not as creamy as I think a really moisturizing cream should be. The scent is quite “clinical,” I would say, but since it is a fragrance-free product, it easily smells a bit “hospital.” It’s not really that appealing, but something you have to expect with a fragrance-free product. After a few weeks of use, I do feel that it is not moisturizing enough for me, who has problems with dry areas in winter. However, I think this might be a better cream for my skin in the spring/summer, and therefore I am not completely satisfied here in winter. Finally, I can say that if I had tried this at another time of year when I don’t need as much hydration, the likelihood is greater that I would have been more attracted to it. I like the ingredients and I like the feeling, but in winter I need a richer cream for myself. #LYKOINFLUTESTER #PURITO
