Good hydration and light texture but lacks luxury feel
I have been using this product for a couple of weeks now and have to say that I like it. At first, I was a bit skeptical if a light and thin gel could do anything for my skin, but it could! The texture is light and absorbs quickly into the skin without being sticky, if dosed correctly. I find that this product provides surprisingly much moisture to the skin for being so light. The skin becomes nicely hydrated without becoming shiny. Depending on the skin condition for the day, I have either used it as is after cleansing and toner. On days when I need a little extra, I have applied my usual day cream on top, and it then works as a moisture serum. The scent is nice and fresh, leaning towards floral. For a facial product, it smells quite strong, just on the edge of being too intense. I am a bit skeptical about the packaging design. It is not entirely easy to dose correctly. It’s easy to squeeze out too much product. I expect more from a product in this price range. What lowers the rating here is the price. It is on the high side for a product that is good but doesn’t have a real luxury feel. *** I am participating in a test panel and have received a free test product. Completely okay
My first thought was that the product size was very large and generous. Pretty cool shape and color. But when I tried it, I didn’t like the smell at all. It didn’t suit me at all, very strong lemon scent. Almost a bit like Yes lemon dish soap or wet wipes with lemon scent. And how a product smells is very important to me. But the feel of the product is very nice, two drops were enough for the whole face, easy to apply, and it absorbed quickly into the skin. So it still gave me well-moisturized skin, but it’s not something I will continue with in the future. Electrolytes – now also for the skin!
This product really worked wonders for my skin. I have combination skin with quite dry and flaky areas mixed with more oily and greasy parts. That’s why it’s hard for me to find a product that works well for the entire face. Biotherm Aquasource+ Electrolyte Dewy Gel 100H is easy to apply and feels very light on the skin while boosting it with moisture. I love this product and even though I’ve only tested it for a short time, I’m sure it will become a favorite in my daily facial routine. It also has a fresh scent and doesn’t get sticky or anything like that on the skin. I really recommend it! Fresh moisture boost with glow but not for perfume sensitive
I've been testing Biotherm Aquasource+ Electrolyte Dewy Gel 100H for a while and am surprised at how much I like it! The texture is light and cooling, almost like a water-gel that melts right into the skin. It absorbs quickly and leaves a nice, dewy glow without feeling sticky or heavy. Perfect both alone if you have normal/combination skin, or as a first layer under a richer cream when the skin needs more. Big plus that it doesn’t pill, it works great with other products and under makeup. Pros: + Light and moisturizing + Absorbs quickly + Works both alone or under a thicker cream + Doesn’t pill Cons: - Contains perfume (typical Biotherm scent) - Can feel too light if you are really dry I’m participating in a test panel and received a free product. Good product, but could be a bit fresher.
I have been trying this product for just over a month now, and I have to say I was positively surprised by how much my skin actually appreciated it. I have combination skin that sometimes gets very dry, especially around the nose area, but can also get very oily in the "T-zone," meaning over the bridge of the nose and the forehead. This has made it difficult for me to find a product that works on the entire face without having to switch and adjust depending on where on the face I apply it. This product worked over my entire face and neck. Super satisfied, except that it maybe doesn’t feel super luxurious right away. And it was actually new to me that the skin could absorb electrolytes, which is obviously appreciated! Then I have to say, the application itself isn’t difficult. "Pat/dab" it into the skin, after application it’s a very "sticky" formula and I actually think it was very good to have under my base makeup. Kind of like a primer! 2 in 1, primer and face cream, excellent. Minus points for it not feeling very luxurious, and for the price... I think they could have made it a bit more luxurious, the packaging or even the scent. Don’t get me wrong, it doesn’t smell bad, but it doesn’t smell particularly feminine either. The scent could have been different and the packaging could have been a bit more eye-catching. And in my opinion maybe a liiiittle expensive, I would say. Not worth the price
The consistency reminds me of a mix between essence and serum, so I don't really think it replaces a regular face cream. It absorbs quickly into the skin, but without feeling tight, which is a plus. Unfortunately, I don't think the product is worth its price. It definitely doesn't stand out compared to other similar products. Additionally, it contains potentially skin-irritating ingredients like perfume and essential oils. That's right, for gel products to be enough as a 'day cream' you need to have oily skin, otherwise you need more nourishment that binds moisture in the skin so it becomes more of an intermediate step like an essence or serum as you write. Feels good on the skin, but unclear if it has any WOW effect
I received the product significantly later than planned, so I haven't had many days to use it yet. The first feeling when I used the product was "now something is happening," because I could feel it in the skin that we are absorbing moisture here. I also experienced that the skin felt very fresh and energized after the cream had done its job. However, a bit sticky feeling when applying it and before it absorbed, which I find a bit difficult. I want it to absorb immediately and not feel like there is a layer left when I'm done. Now this gel was absorbed very quickly and easily compared to a regular face cream, but the first feeling was still a bit sticky. Lovely on the skin and feels good afterward, the effect..? Light and moisturizing, but lacks a luxurious feel
I have been using Biotherm Aquasource + Electrolyte Dewy Gel 100H for a couple of weeks now. The texture is very light, and even though I have used it regularly, I find it hard to get used to the feeling – it almost reminds me more of a facial cleanser than a moisturizing cream. The scent also contributes to that impression. It is quite fresh and leans a bit towards a more masculine side, rather than soft and floral as I am used to from other face creams. At the same time, the result is surprisingly good. The cream absorbs quickly into the skin and leaves it both moisturized and fresh throughout the day. I recommend it if you are looking for a light product, especially as a day cream or during summer. Moisture Bomb
I have now tried Biotherm Aquasource+ Electrolyte Dewy Gel. This is a light gel cream that feels cool and fresh directly on the skin. It absorbs quickly and leaves a “dewy” feeling – perfect if you like hydrated skin but without feeling heavy or greasy, dries quickly. Really good name with dewy meaning dew. A bit like dew drops on the face. Unfortunately not 100 hours of hydration as claimed, but I would call it a solid moisture bomb. I have used it as a serum and then built on with, for example, day or night cream. Builds moisture on moisture. It gives a luxurious feeling even though it is a plastic bottle and not glass. Wonderful and useful
About 3 weeks ago I received this lovely product, Biotherm Aquasource + Electrolyte Dewy Gel 100H, the name is quite a mouthful - I know 😅 After using it religiously both morning and evening, I can conclude the following; it looks practically unused, so economical! I experience a clearer, more even skin tone and the skin looks more awake and with more radiance than without use. Easy to apply but not sufficient for dry skin
I have tested this product for about 1.5 weeks. It absorbs easily into the skin after a short while and the skin feels moisturized. However, I have quite dry skin during the winter months, and it doesn't manage to keep the skin soft for a full day; I then see dry areas on my face. I would like to test it a bit longer before making a final evaluation. The application could be better, easy to overdose. I also think the scent could be nicer; it smells like aftershave.
