It contains quite heavy oils (e.g. isopropyl myristate) as well as fragrances and essential oils, which can irritate the skin or trigger new breakouts in some people. Treatments for acne scars often work better with, for example, azelaic acid, retinoids, or mild acids, as they can improve skin texture and pigment changes over time. However, if you want to use oil, apply a small amount as the last step and gently press it into the skin instead of rubbing. I've been using this for several years. It's part of my regular skincare routine products. I use it daily on both my body and face. Works well for those with slightly sensitive skin.
